When waxing and shaving gets old (it will), you have options. Don’t spend your days staring at itchy, red bumps or black hair follicles if you don’t have to. I spent many months paying for professional laser hair removal during covid. However, the option of having something similar in the comfort of your very own home was appealing for multiple reasons. Not only are you saving money, you are also saving time. Buying packages at professional salons can cost hundreds if not thousands of dollars and think of the commute and appointment times. So. Many. Hours.

Let’s get to the nitty gritty of this thing. The Pro 5 device comes complete with two interchangeable caps - a precision cap (for face and intimate areas) and a standard cap (for body), a power cord, a Gillette Venus Deluxe Smooth Swirl Razor (thanks P&G!) and an impressively beautiful leather zip pouch for travel and storage. With the ability to read your skin tone, it adapts to the power setting that you need to be successful. Pale skin and dark hair is the secret sauce here. This is not for peach fuzz or light colored hair, crossing our fingers for that someday.

For only around 10 minutes a week and only once a week, you’ll start seeing results in just two uses. This product is not a laser but rather uses what is called IPL (Intense Pulsed Light). IPL uses a broader light band (broadband pulsed light) while lasers (monochromatic coherent light) are more selective for the targeted area. IPL is safe for legs, armpits, bikini area and even the face. Don’t be going nuts either and using this near your eyebrows! I know it’s tempting but just don’t do it. Men, you can use this too for a little back action or whatever your heart desires. Have fun with it. Over and out.
